NSF Engineering of Biomedical Systems

Our NSF proposal #1936519 entitled “Elucidation of bioelectromechanics in cardiomyocyte proliferation after injury” in collaboration with Dr. Juhyun Lee at UT Arlington is awarded. Our team will have $450k and 3 years to investigate the role of Notch signalling in heart regeneration using the zebrafish model. Link.
